Gas/Lower Back Pain? Help!

Did anyone have bad lower back pain post op? At first I chalked it up to gas but its been over 2 weeks. Could this really still be gas pains? I'm walking a lot & using Gas X strips. Any advice?

I had lower back pain for weeks following surgery.  I used a heating pad to help reduce the pain.  My bariatric center told me that it was something you can experience after being operated on the front side.  Something with the muscles, I can't remember.  Try the heating pad and a tylenol and see it that doesn't help.  If it gets bad, call your surgeon and ask.  That's why they are paid the big bucks.  Have a happy 4th
