Early out, I was doing 2 protein shakes a day, one first thing in the morning and one at night.  Now at 2 years out, I still start every day with a protein shake.  I just feel better, and it's like my "insurance policy".

Typical for me (only the protein items are listed... fruits, veggies, etc, are omitted):

breakfast - protein powder in SF hot chocolate - 20g
snack - greek yogurt - 15g
lunch - 3-4 oz of chicken breast - approx 28g
snack - almonds and string cheese - 14g
dinner - 3-4 ounces of chicken or beef or fish - approx 28g
snack - milk - 8g

As you can see, the total is around 120g

 I get between 90 & 110 g of protein a day among 800-900 calories.

Typical day:

2x's protein coffee (1/2 scoop Nectar Capucchino in 1/4 cup milk topped off the mug with half decaf half regular coffee)

Cheese snack, either a mini brie with melba and NSA raspberry jam or a mini babybel.

Protein rich lunch. Usually involving either a little can of flavoured tuna or some concoction made with sliced chicken breasts

Yogurt and some kind of nut snack.

protein rich dinner, usually focusing on chicken, sometimes fish like haddock or tilapia. I rarely eat grains, but when I do it's usually an ice cube's worth of quinoa.

Something desserty, usually a NSA pudding with some cool whip

Protein drink 1 brimming scoop Nectar Iced Tea in 32 oz glass with a packet of crystal light (and added fibre, powdered calcium citrate and magnesium citrate)

On a day where I work out hard (usually aquafit or a training walk) I add an extra shake, usually made like the last one.
