To those on the liquid diet...

I've seen a few posts about being on the prep liquid diet and it brought back memories! It was so hard and I remember feeling sick from hunger and wondering if it was worth it. I stuck with it, and my surgeon said my surgery was easy because my liver was so small.

I know this is such a hard time, but believe me when I say that this will all be a vague memory in a short while, and you'll be posting words of encouragement for others.

Thanks so much for your post.  I'm having my surgery on Monday and am so tired, weak and hungry.  Your encouraging words made me feel so much better ;-)  I can do this!  Arms around, Susan

Thanks for the encouragement. Some days have been harder then others but all said I have had a pretty easy time with the pre-op liquid diet. My surgery is Monday so I only have a few more days!

Pam, I see you after our Monday surgeries on the losers bench!  Are you taking a laptop to the hospital???

No but I will let everyone know when I get home! Hopefully Tuesday but probably Wednesday. Hope you're doing well on your pre-op diet.
