I'm noticing how many folks take a long time to drink a protein shake! How do you ladies keep them cold , I have a strong aversion to warm milk. BLECH!

At home, just put back in the fridge for a short period of time after you feel full.  If you have a shake at work, use a small ice chest, and try to keep some ice in the bottom of the chest.  You might also consider some of the insulated glasses.  I just got a couple at Walmart. These are plastic, but double walled, and they do have a straw that won't fall out. If you're careful, you can use the straw without getting air.  If not, remove the straw, and unscrew the lid.  You could add a couple of ice cubes in the insulated cup too.  I put some ice in the cup and filled with Powerade Zero on Tuesday when I went to the support meeting. The ice lasted about 3 to 3 1/2 hours.  Try making shakes with ice water or really cold FF milk, as that would extend the chilled temp of the shake too. DAVE

I don't have that problem. After you mix it, you could put half in the fridge to keep it cold. Or maybe try one of those insulated cups.

Rofl..Jenny...yea Ice!  Naaw I know I've seen peeps like MM make frappe's out of shakes and such I just wonder if they start to taste crappy when the ice melts and they ge****ered down. I will get some of the insulated cups. I'm a stay at home mom now so I have access to the fridge almost all the time..good and bad thing!

I make part of mine the night before. I bought a GNC shaker cup and I pour some milk or decaf coffee into it and freeze it. Then in the AM, I take it out and let it sit for a while, then I add my protein mix and either more milk or water. The ice melts eventually and it is really good!
