bread
There is protein bread (P-28, you can search it on Google). I don't like it personally but some folks swear by it. I'll post a review from Bariatric Foodie in a moment so you can see the stats.
I usually go with Arnold Thins or the like. On occasion I eat actual bread but I'm sort of a bread snob. I like to buy bread from actual bakers. In those cases (and I seriously don't eat bread that much so I can, in my head justify it), I just get a good whole wheat variety.
My problem with increased protein breads is that the increased protein usually comes from increased gluten (wheat protein) in the bread. I don't like high gluten bread. It's very, very chewy. That P-28 bread, to me, is like chewing a washcloth. Not pleasant.
I know there are other good bread choices. I hope others chime in and are helpful!

Personally, I don't have a very picky pouch, so anything that's not white bread works for me. I can do 100% whole wheat from the store to do a sandwich (I only ever eat one slice) Orowheat Sandwich thins are the bomb, too. They make great sandwiches, taste good, stay good forever. Oh and by the way....they make a really awesome little pizza if you turn them inside-down on a cookie sheet and top with your healthy pizza-ish toppings and bake. Portion is perfect, and they get really nice and crispy. I've also eaten burgers on them, and that is really good, too.
Like a previous poster I like the sandwich thins for burgers, sandwiches etc. or the flat out flat bread for wraps and pizza's. There are some pretty good higher protein breads out there just take a look at your local grocery store the next time your there. they'll say "high protein" right on the packaging. also low carb tortilla's are great for burrito's, wraps etc. as well.

Giiiiirl, you know I swear by La Tortilla Factory whole wheat, low carb tortillas. That's what my breakfast tacos go in! 50 calories and something like 3g net carbs. Yay-uh!

MMMMM. Breakfast taco's!! not to mention Breakfast burrito's a little scrambled egg, some cheese, bacon..well crap, now I've made myself crave it (as I look at my bowl of cottage cheese and pineapples: Think I can trade it in? LOL).

sara lee makes a 60 calorie whole wheat white bread, although not impressive on the protein it's a smaller slice of bread light on the calories and easy to stomach. I only add bread once I've already got my proteins in for the day so I'm not as picky. I also like Dave's Killer bread, it has something like 6g of protein a slice but it's very heavy and with a touch of peanut butter half a slice is a meal!
