weight gain...building muscles or form of a stall???
Well...I actually weighed 179...then slowly creeped up to 184 this morning. I haven't changed anything except my exercise. I'm riding a bike...alot! My diet has been great...counting my calories too. Getting 1000-1200. Protein between 80-100 gms/day. So, I guess I'm building muscle. That's the only explaination I can think of. I'm not retaining any significan****er either. So...what do you all think. Could it be a type of stall??

I think you're right. It may be a combination of a stall and your increased exercise. Just keep doing what you're doing! Are you taking your measurements? You're probablt losing inches. Try to be patient!!

Easily! Your body also retains water while its building muscle. Something to do with replacing glycogen stores? If you do a search here there is a really good post on it, I don't want to misquote it. Everytime I ramp up my exercise I see anywhere from a 3-5 pound gain over a few days that takes about ten days to come off, then the weight loss resumes.
