clothing sizes

Sizes vary so much, even by the same brand.  I have size 14, size 16, and one size 16 jeans that all fil right now.  I have two pairs of shorts from the same maker - one is a 14 the other is a 16.  Go figure???
I have been picking up shorts, shirts, and capris that are on sale right now and trying to guess what size I will be in at the end of September for our Disney trip.  Some of the shorts and shirts I have picked up at J C Penneys have been reduced to under $5 so that is not too bad.
Our Penney's had two racks of clothes this week that were only 1.99, brand new and cheaper than at a resale shop.  This time of year you can get tons of reduced bargains.
