any other lap band to bypass convertions out there?

just curious what your stories are.

I am. My revision surgery was on 7/5 so I'm still recovering. I feel good and I'm happy to be rid of the band. Getting in all my protein and liquid has been easy. It really was a great decision for me.

Me too! Had the band in 2009 and got the revision 6/7/11. It has been much much better since getting the revision. I wish I had never done the band!

Yep...got that demon band removed on 4/25/11 and started my new life with RNY.  Best decision I ever made.  Wish I had done this the first time!

wow, i know. i feel like i wasted 3 years of my life! my insurance doesnt pay for anything, so my parents paid for the band. they wouldnt pay for bypass, i wish they had, haha but my husband refused to let me go on the way i was & found a way to pay for bypass, love him so much for it. :) hes into fitness, weight lifting, running etc. im into being a couch potato, lol. working on changing that. its awesome to find others in the same boat.
