NEWLY POST-OP! :)

To my OH friends...

I just wrote a new blog with all the details like I promised.

It's both REAL and heavy... so I prefer pre-ops NOT read it.

I miss talking to all of you guys, and look forward to browsing your soft food recipies on the 21st!

Ok, that is just crazy to me. As soon as I woke up, I was given duladid. I had a lidicaine pump that went into my stomach. When I got to the floor I was given vicoden and sent home with a script for it and when that wasn't working I got a script for percocet. I got to my room @ 7pm and was walking by 8pm b/c my pain was controlled. I still can't believe you had to go through that. What a nightmare. (((hugs)))

Wow.  I'm so sorry to hear that your experience was so full of pain.  I had my RNY on the same day as you and had a completely different experience.  I guess everyone's journey really is different.  Hope that you continue to get stronger and it gets easier and easier each and every day.
