I'm having one of those days. Just incredibly sad and tearful. Nothing specific, just the chaos of my world right now I guess. I'm going to force myself to go to the gym when my girls go to vacation bible school. Hoping that helps shake this sucky feeling. If not, I'm thinking a nice nap is in order, especially since our heat index today is going to be 113 degrees!!

Thanks for letting me vent.

Denise

I feel your pain! Sometimes you just chalk it up to "one of those days" and hope that tomorrow will be better. Good on ya for doing something proactive & going to the gym!!

When I have one of those days, I let myself wallow for a little while, then I do something that I know will make me happy/feel good, like spend time with my little nieces, go to a movie I really want to see, buy myself something that I've wanted for a while, take a walk, etc...  I think the gym is a good idea!  Hope you feel better soon!

I was just thinking about calling a couple girlfriends and setting up a get together tonight--play some cards, talk, laugh--that is the best medicine I can think of!

Thanks!!

Oh Denise I know the feeling.  I'm terribly teary this morning, emotional and just want to be alone.  I am very exhausted too.  I'm thinking for me it's 1) the infusion is losing it'*****h and/or 2) my hormone patch isn't working as effectively.

Blah, I feel like I'm on a carousel spinning 100 MPH and I can't jump off :(.

I'm sorry you are having a rough day too. It is Friday for goodness sake--we should be happy! But alas, our minds (and hormones, etc.) have other things in store for us. I'm just glad I have the folks on here--good to be understood and commisserated with during times like this. Guess on days like this I also need to count my blessings--just having air conditioning on a day like this is a HUGE blessing.

I'll call that carousel operator and ask him to slow it down for you!! Hang in there my friend!!

How about B12 shot? they usually help me a lot.
BTW: I just finished my series of the iron infusions. Somehow - I got them 4 days in a raw.
Not sure if that is a new protocol for my doc or he wanted me to get any extra.

A girls night sounds great!!!  I'm jealous!  My two best friends live 30-45 minutes away and each have 2 boys from 1-4 years old and I just found out that one of them is pregnant again!  We only get to see each other once or twice a year.

That's tough. Distance and kids...friendship killers! I have a dear friend of 30 years that I share the same dynamic with...45 min in traffic and uber busy with her kids. We dont' get together often, but it is like we never had a moment apart when we do. The beauty of true friends!
