How long after surgery did you go back to work?

I took 3 weeks off.  Could have gone back after 2 though. Everyone is different, there is no magical number.  Just listen to your body.  Congrats on the beginning of your new life!

I had laproscopic surgery and work a desk job.  I took all six weeks the Surgeon suggested.  And I needed it.  I got tired real quick at the beginning.

I am also an office worker but I took 5 weeks off. My surgeon said take it if you have it, and I had sick time and vacation time I used. I'm going back to work on Aug. 4. I'm feeling good even now but I'm not running around as if I were at work. I'm letting myself heal and I wanted to get past liquids and pureed food stage! Good luck!!
