My journey continues...
So, my knee got MRI'd yesterday and I will have results tomorrow. AND best of all it feels much better, I could even go to the gym, but until I get results that say it is all A-OK I will hold off, even though I am chopping at the bit to get back.
I am off to San Diego (my hometown) today for an AVID conference. I am an AVID teacher (for the first time this year) and very excited to learn more about my program and spend time in the most beautiful city in the country, IMHO.
It will be a busy 4 days with lots of eating out but I am ready. I brought my healthy high protein snacks, vitamins all packed, powered protein drink with blender ball shaker, and a buddy who will share meals with me. I usually do not like sharing meals as people who are NOT RYN patients are so ignorant on what we can and can not eat so people order Chicken Fried Steak and say to me "oh but you have have the veggies" Oh the things that go through my mind when people do and say that kind of stuff. So after a long explanation of what I can and can not eat she is willing to 1/2 it with me. We will see how it goes.
My stall broke today, down 2 lbs (well 4 if you count the 2 I regained)....so 45lb total in 12 weeks. I'll take it. Trying to get my positive attitude back. Thanks everyone for your support in my dark days. Will let you know MRI results when they come in.

I seldom had to share meals. Usually could pick a small appetizer and go with it. When at home - the leftovers can be great - but when I travel - I have my snacks and then 2-3 meals.
Always can pick a small fish dinner. The savings for sharing a meal was never worth to me the aggravation to have to eat what someone else wanted.
BTW: one time a guy I was dating ordered spaghetti for dinner and told me that we can share... lol.. I think not... and that was a last date we had...
