Second Endoscopy

I  had my second endoscopy this morning. The dr removed the remaining stitch that was creating an ulcer. He said all in all the ulcer looks much improved from just 2 weeks ago when I had this done.

And guess what..... I get to do this all over again in a month to make sure I am healing. If not there is a slight chance I will have to have the RNY revised.....

I am hoping and praying this ulcer heals!!!!!!!! I do NOT want another surgery to revise this one!!!!

I have been a little down because I have only lost 34 pounds since May 31...... I know it is normal to vary in weight loss person to person but I see people at less time since their surgery with way more weight loss. Its frustrating to me. But I have remained on my workouts and my correct food and water and protein intake.

I'm sorry you're down.  It seems to me that 34 pounds is a lot in just 7 weeks though--I think you should be extremely proud.  I bet you're seeing lots of difference in your clothes and in how you feel.  Keeping my fingers crossed that your ulcer heals and you can just keep on losing.

I know its normal to feel down. I know its normal for every person to have different weight loss rates. I know its normal to have down days. I know its normal for some people to have the issues I have had.

None of these NORMALS make it any easier.

My hubby came home early today so our daughter could go to her Senior Picnic. I thought I was going to be alone for a couple of hours. But he came to my rescue!!!!! I really needed to just snuggle up to him and get my reassurancess from him.
