Dumping - I do it
Yep, found out the hard way. My mom made dream pie. I thought it would be okay, the pudding was sugar free. This was the worst I've felt since surgery. I ate a fruit bar last week and it felt a lot like this except this was way worse. I'm really bored with my food, I'm starting to feel hunger and I've eaten things I shouldn't have. And I'm paying for it. Needless to say, I won't do that again!!! So back to chicken and green beans. After tonight anything sweet, even fruit is out for a while. Bleh.
I am right there w/you finding out the hard way about dumping! I have overeaten and man that was worse than the flu and then I tried some Trop 50 orange juice and that was the wrong thing also. I don't know what possessed me to do that being out only 2 weeks. Lost my head I guess! ha. I do have to admit though after dumping you do feel so much better but before can be absolutely miserable!
I've found out that I'm a dumper too. I tried to eat canned peach with cottage cheese, big no-no for me. And if I eat one bite too much, it comes back up as well. I don't get any of the signs like heart racing or sweating like other folks have mentioned, just discomfort in my chest and can feel it in the back of my throat. But one thing I did learn, the reason why we can't drink when we eat. To me it sorta pushes the food down to fast and makes me nauseated. I'm learning, I'll be one month out friday.
