Oh how i have missed you Obesity Help!!!!!!!!  My computer has been down for about 2 months and I have missed it here.  I am doing really well...it has been 4+ months since surgery and I feel great for the most part.  I am down 53 lbs and am still shocked by my new body everyday .  I went from 241 lbs at my first consult, to 218 the day of surgery, and now to 165 lbs!!!!!!!!!!   My stomach can handle most foods, but does best with fish and fruit, which is ok with me since the fish is usually high protein.  I am still drinking at least one protein shake a day just to get all my protein in.  I can at times go off track , like when I am hungry and NO protein sounds good or is just too heavy...I unfortunately have reached for the pretzels or chips.  However, this is ALWAYS a very small amount and so I feel it is not so bad.

I hope you all are doing well and I am so HAPPY to be back on here to offer support and to get support...it is much needed.

This is a life long journey I am ready to take...bring it on

241 at first consult
218 day of surgery

Hi, I am 8 weeks out today . I started this process at 242, day of surgery 218 and I'm down to 194. I had gallbladder surgery 32 days after my RNY. I just found out yesterday I have an ulcer in my pouch. Did you do any specific exercises? I use a treadmill and stationary bike, but not sure what exercises to do.  Thanks for any help and support !-Patti
