Dear Stress, you can go away anytime now!

Medication is awesome. I'm going through a divorce... a not so good one at that. I have 4 kids. I'm living with my parents *shudder. I go to church, I have a support group. I play WoW so I can pvp and kill little brattie teenagers home on summer break. They get SO mouthy in that game! I journal once in a while when things are really bad. I usually write it as a letter to my ex... Dear yadda yadda... Makes me feel better for a little while. I cry in the shower so the kids don't have more to deal with. Some days are longer showers than others. I guess you just take it one day at a time. Heck some days you take it one hour or minute at a time. My other destressor is going to the movies alone. Nobody else just me. Oh and my nightly walks. 2 miles or more with nothing but my ipod and me. Love that time.
For by grace we are saved. Ephesians 2:8

One word-ATIVAN.     I don't need it every day, but when I'm completely overwhelmed, that shuts down my brain enough to still function, but to stop that cycle of being overwhelmed.     Once I can think straight, I can usually come up with a plan to fix/treat/etc. whatever the problem is.    Combine that with talking things out with friends and I'm a much much happier chickie!!!

Now you're talking! Honestly--nothing wrong with needing a little pharmacological assistance!

I'm a very private person, so I rarely reach out to anyone. Typically when I'm stressed/depressed/anxious, I just sit alone in the dark and try to contemplate/meditate and think my way through what has me so down/stressed/on edge. When I emerge from my self-imposed timeout, I'm usually metamorphosed back into my usual a-hole self.

I do like alone time to think, but I tend to think TOO much and then I freak myself out even worse! Perhaps a bit of vino prior to my alone time would facilitate more focus!
