Extracts really helping me to drink protein shakes
I don't like the taste of the different types of protein drinks I have tried but I started adding extracts: almond, peppermint, coconut, banana, orange, etc. and it really makes it much easier to drink! Also, protein pudding (just instant sf/ff pudding w/ 2 scoops protein powder added) is good when I want to eat something instead of sip. Anyone who's struggling may want to try it out. Hope this helps!
I found the extracts to be far better than any sf syrups or other flavorings. I also used a wide variety along with pb2, drink mix singles, and unsweetened cocoa powder both regular and dark. After awhile I only bought vanilla protein because I could make it into any flavor.

V'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
I buy the Nectar unflavored protein so the possibilities are endless. My mood changes from fruity to creamy jseems like every other day so it works out great. I just finished a shake made in my mini-blender with 2 scoops protein, 3 squirts DVinci caramel sf syrup, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 c skim milk and ice.
Just tonight, I tried a sample pack of Nectar Roadside lemonade mixed with Minute Maid light lemonade. It is so good. I am going to add ice cubes to it to make a slush or will put it in my popcicle molds. I had surgery 7/7 and have had a hard time with protein. I can't wait to try the Twisted Cherry mixed with the lemonade.
I will also try the extracts. Thanks for the tip.

Also, try a little sugar free Jello added to some of your bland items. Gives shakes that extra boost of flaver. I made sorbet with Splenda and watermelon and added a small amount of the watermelon Jello and it really helped the flavor. About a teaspoon makes a world of difference. Lots of flavors available.
