OMG'sh y'all in 3 days I'll be going into surgery! WOW I am a wrec****ep thinking about the bad stuff instead of the positive. I went for pre-op yesterday where they told me they're going to be placing a breathing tube and that TOTALLY freaked me out. I've never had surgery of any kind, so I'm scared...anyone else out there had all these emotions of just pure fear? Yet happiness because you know you are doing the right thing? 

i was just like you! LOL! i had never had ANY type of surgery EVER!!! and at first i was scared BUT then i went into Pure Faith Mode and everything went GREAT!!! i was even Up and Walking The Halls in the Hospital in a couple of hours after i got to my room! you wont have ANY problems either! and the Breathing Tube is for Your Safety... it just keeps your pathway open so the air can flow... No Worries! You Will Do GREAT!!!

Good Luck.  I know how you feel, I got my approval and then I started to get nervous.  I have had many surgeries so I know its just normal jitters.  However I am on day 3 of my 2 week liquid diet and I feel like I am gonna die...lol

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah I am a tad worried about how am I going to be on liquids- but we just gotta keep in mind its just temporary.

Good Luck.  I think the days before surgery are harder than the days after.... in some ways. I am 19 days out and lost 18 pounds already.

did you have to do preop liquids?  Everyone has a different preop diet, Mine is 2 weeks liquid.  I hear after surgery you arent hunger so I think I can breeze through the post op diet but this pre op liquid bites.
