Old Habits Creeping Back In...Help Please

Thank you everyone!  After I posted this last night, I decided to get up and take some charge and went for a 2 miles walk.  It felt so good to get outside (even though it's hotter than heck out) and walk the hills in the neighborhood and not be out of breath.

I'm thinking of doing the 5 day pouch test to get back on track and see if that will "help".  I need to get back to basics and I'm thinking this may help me.

It's so good to know that I'm not the only one that feels like this or is going thru this.

Glad to know that I am not alone.  I have been slipping for about a month and have actually gained about 5 lbs.  I'm 13 months out from RNY and I've gone back to the diet sodas, which i turn seems to make me want to "snack" more.  Losing this weight over the last year has not been easy and I refuse to go back to the way things were.  I have been trying to "wean" myself off the diet sodas and go back to water and tea.  It is hard but they say nothing worth having is ever easy!  I'm trying to keep that in mind.  I also have some pics of before that I keep with me to remind me of how things were prior to surgery.  I do not want to go there.  What we have to remember is that this is a lifetime journey, not a destination.  I felt better after I read the other posts.

I have a question:  In your last post you mentioned the 5 day pouch test.  What is that exactly?

As far as I can tell, the 5 day pouch test is a "diet" to get you back to basics.  You do 2 days of liquids and then slowly add back in your solid forms of protein.  I've heard a lot of good things about it.  Here's the link:  www.5daypouchtest.com/
