Ok, so today I have had what seemed like a decent normal menu of food items

B-Chobani raspberry
L- 4 oz lean burger (oven cooked) on bun with mustard, ketchup and 1 slice cheddar cheese
S- Protein shake with 1/ 2 banana and SF chocolate syrup
D- 4 oz meatball with 1.5 oz mozzarella cheese
1 glass of Snapple diet peach iced tea and water all day.

Extras-5 pringles and 1 vanilla sandwich cookies.  Moment of weakness.

Is this a decent menu.  I have been stalled for what feels like ever and I have an appt in 3 weeks i do not wnt my surgeon squinching his eyes up at me because I am not losing.
I will not be 6 mos out until Sept 30.  But I have failed at so many diet strategies, I was hoping this would work.  Argh!!!!! Frustration!!!!!!

It doesn't look bad to me.  You might wanna think about the bun with your burger.  I do eat bread but I ate it less often when I was still losing than I do now.  And some people find they lose better when they stay away from starchy carbs altogether.

The other thing I would point out is the "extras."  You know, none of us got fat eating five chips or one cookie.  The thing about "extras," though, is that they add up over time if we have them often.  I don't know what brand of cookie you ate but I did some quick googling and I'll guess it had between 50 and 75 calories.  Which doesn't sound like much at all.  But if you ate one of those cookies every day, that would be between 350 and 525 extra calories.  Which still doesn't seem like much, but then if you add in a few "extra" chips....

I am not saying never to eat "extras."  I'm just saying to make sure they don't become "regular" instead of "extra."

Are you exercising?

What about fruits and veggies?

Also, I have a question. Does the sugar in the flavored Chobani  bother you? I have been wanting to try it, but I didn't want to dump on it.

I don't do the flavored Greek yogurts because of the sugar.  I get the plain and then mix stuff in it.  Like no sugar added jam if I want a fruity yogurt.

I was going to ask about the yogurt too...I used to love that!

Other than the Bun which kelly said, I had part of a banana in the beginning of last week a few times and noticed that I didn't lose as well this week even though everything else was the same. I wouldn't have even thought about it if I didn't read Nik's warning about bananas -esp in shakes.

Good luck!

YOU ARE NOT ON A DIET!!!!!

Your intake looks good, so keep up the exercise.  Strength training is a good thing to do
as well as walking or other aerobics?

Don't worry about a number on a scale;  how do your clothes fit?

Good luck!

It doesnt look to bad but at this point I would get rid of the junk food and lower the carbs.Ive lowered my carbs to under 20 and finally broke a stall.Seems like alot of carbs to me but everyone is different.I can't handle many carbs at all.You will do this!!

Pssst...come closer, I have a secret to tell you. Closer...closer...(THUNK!) There, that's good.

Your surgeon? He/she knows you are human. Why? Well because he operated on your HUMAN body of course.

So I don't think your surgeon will be upset about a stall. Your body is acting normally. Weight loss happens in these mysterious fits and starts.

I agree with what others have said. Ditch the bread, consider lettuce instead. If you can eat just five pringles and one sandwich cookie, honey, you are so far ahead of where I am RIGHT NOW it isn't even funny.

Hugs. You're doing fine.
