Oatmeal
You can eat it just keep in mind it is very carby with very little protein. You could up the protein by stirring in a scoop of vanilla protein powder or some PB2 (powdered peanut butter) or even real peanut butter if you don't mind the calories.
Not sure about the sugar content of Chick Fil A so be careful with that. I've also heard steel cut oats are higher in protein. Something to look into.
Good luck!

I've added unflavored whey isolate protein to oatmeal fo years. I happen to like the Glutenfreeda brand, in a wide variety of flavors. I prefer the cinnamon apple brand, and it's gluten free with 8 g of sugars. BUT, I only fix half of the bagged serving (only 4g sugar) , adding 1/3 C water and mircrowave for 60 seconds. I let it set for a couple of minutes. I then reheat for 30 seconds and add about 1/2 to 3/4 oz of water mixed with the unflavored protein. Mix with spoon and I prefer to add a little more cinnamon for flavor. I add a packet of Stevia once in a while. Steel cut oats tend to be hard to digest for some post ops. 1/2 bag has 17.5g carbs, 3g protein ( plus the 10 I add for a total of 13g protein), 2g fiber, and around 115 calories (includes the oatmeal and protein powder). I found this on Amazon, and noted several independent sources remarking how well it tasted, how well it mixed, nice texture, etc. DAVE

I love steel cut and use vanilla protein powder mixed with water as "milk."
An old recipe from another weight loss forum was "Oatmeal Custard"
After you make your oatmeal and while it is hot scramble up an egg white and add some cinnamon and splenda/stevia and vanilla to taste. Mix with the cooked oatmeal and nuke again until the whites are cooked. They will be mixed in with the oatmeal and wont LOOK like egg whites but will create a custardy type of breaksfast oatmeal.
YUM!
