Hi guys,

i was doing a search for a b12 sublingual without sweeteners or dies and a forum for the hcg diet came up. So out of curiousity I did some research on it and found this article about it. My first thought was wow that sounds dangerous. What do you think?

Crazy that this is still around!  I remember my Aunt Nina doing that back in the 70's and getting really sick from it.

I have lost 40 lbs on hcg sublingual drops since April 26th. Just got my lab results back, and they are better that they have been in years! My doc is supportive as long as ths lab results look that good. I need to losd 25 more to get back to goal.

Here is a recent thread on here discussing this diet.  It got a little snippy at times but there is some very good info if you read all the way through.  Personally, I would never do it, but I made a firm commitment to myself that my RNY was the end of fad dieting and the beginning of healthy eating for me. When I need to drop a couple of pounds of regain, I go back to basics (increase proitein a bit, increase water, and cut the unnecessary carbs), and that has never failed to get the weight back off.  It is a slow loss, but it is healthy and reinforces healthy habits rather than reinforcing the old diet and deprivation mentality.
