Counting your calories...How?

Do you count all of your regular calories consumed before exercise or do you count only your "net" calories after exercise?  I have been counting my "net" calories when I journal everyday.  Am I right or wrong?

I don't think there really is a right or wrong.  It's whatever works for you.

Livestrong.com does both for you.

I just shoot for my RMR as opposed to trybing to balance out total calories burned then get net and shoot for a small deficit.

What are you using to determine your calories burned while exercising?  Depending on your physical condition the number on the Exercise equipment could be close to right or totally wrong.

I am letting Fitpal calculate for me.  I walk 2.5 miles every morning for about 50-55 minutes total time.  My current weight is 192 and fitpal is calculating a calorie burn of 200 calories.  Do you think this is close to being acurate?
