New Attitude

Okay so I have been super down this last while because my weight isn't coming off very fast even though I am doing everything that I think I should be doing - I say think because I haven't been given much advice from my doctor.  Anyway he finally said just eat healthy and let me worry about the weight.

I have just returned from vacation and what a fabulous time I had! I went with my family to Canada's Wonderland and went on rollercoasters for the first time in over 16 years! This was a big goal for me because I was always terrified of not fitting and being embarassed.  Anyway between that and going shopping in new stores that I could never go to before and even being able to fit into my Mother and Sister's clothes for the first time in ages, it was so exciting.  Everyone was complimenting me and telling me how awesome I have done.  So because of that I am just going to keep enjoying my life and not worry about the fact that I haven't lost any significant weight in the last few months.

Enjoy each day, I am!!

I get on myself too cause its slowing down a little, I weigh everyday though and I need to stop that.  I fluctuate about 2 pounds all the time and it drives me nuts.

Im glad your feeling great!

The scale mattered more than anything and I too weighed every day but when I was on vacation I didn't have access to it.  Honestly my breakthrough was realizing that I could start doing everything I had wanted to do and these were the reasons I wanted the surgery in the first place.  I feel like a success and want to do so much more even though I am still far from my goal.

I think my advice to anyone is to try new things along the way, don't just wait for you to reach goal because it really renews you and helps you realize how much you have accomplished so far!
