My best friend had her RNY in March. She has lost 75 pounds and is feeling great. I'm so proud of her! We took our picture the other night and I just had to post a side by side of what used to be. Hard to believe that between the two of us we've lost 215 pounds and she's still rollin'! I'm sure she'll reach her goals. She's done so very well thus far. Love you Shandan if you are reading this!

I'm so glad to have gone before her so I could help her through the process. It is a scary thing pursuing this life changing surgery and knowing someone who has been through it safely and successfully certainly helps! She even recovered at my house for two weeks! My girls love her like an Aunt and even call her Aunt Shannon, so I'm happy to help in any way I can just to know her health will improve so she can be around for them for a long, long time.
