Melted peanut butter with protein powder: Take 3!

So I have jumped on the melted peanut butter with protein powder bandwagon. I just wanted to toss out there that when I did it, I added the vanilla sf syrup and a little milk and chilled it for a good long while. Literally tastes like PB fudge! If it was just a bit firmer I'd believe it was. So yummy. Gonna have to be careful though because it goes down easy, but for a snack is still pretty calorie dense with the peanut butter despite the good protein counts.

Anyway, wasn't sure if chilling it was already talked about but wanted to share.

Enjoy.

MMm, I have to try that!  I did the PB&J one... peanut butter with strawberry protein and SF raspberry syrup.  Was weird looking, but darned if it didn't taste like PB&J!  This is addictive...

I just took a plop (very technical measurement! LOL!) about a tablespoon and heated it in the microwave until it was runny--about 25 seconds in mine--careful. Then I added a scoop of chocolate protein powder and mixed it well. It was grainy and thick so I added a squirt or so of sf vanilla syrup and a little milk. You could use all milk if you don't have the syrups. Then I mixed it well and refrigerated it.

Give it a shot--it is yummy.

I'm gonna try it with almond butter but when I was at Kroger yesterday they had three brands of almond butter and two were really expensive and the third wasn't cheap but it was more affordable but it was "crunchy, salted" almond butter which didn't sound like it would work so well.  So I gotta wait before I buy any.

I actually didn't like it warm at all. Loved it chilled. Gonna keep it in a container to just take a bite to fix my sweet tooth. Sorry you didn't like it.

Do you think using PB2 would work? If it would you would be able to cut the fat too! It mixes with water to make a paste.
