I did well with SF popsicles. They were soothing to my pouch and gave me fluids. I also drank vanilla chamomile (sp?) herb tea, warm. I also drank tiny sips of good chicken broth. Homemade chicken broth has tons more protein because it is made using the bones. I bought mine from a great jewish deli in my neighborhood. You can also add protein powder ones the heat decreases, otherwise the protein lumps.
