Does "that time of the month" still effect weight loss after surgery?

Pre surgery, I would always get the typical symptoms, bloating, cramps etc etc... and I would gain a little weight I think because of bloating/hormones or whatever etc.  just typical stuff that probably everyone gets.

I was just curious if it still effects people after surgery...  I am about 7mos out, and was never bothered by it until now.  All of a sudden this month are the cramps from hell.

anyone else?

I avoid the scale during my time of the month because I tend to get really bloated. I gain 4 pounds of water weight. It goes away when it's done.

Some months I get cramps really REALLY bad, other months, not so much. I do however gain about 5 pounds that week in water and thankfully it's gone as soon as TOM is over.

I gain between 2-4 lbs monthly, but the only place I really notice it is in my chest.  My bras get tight for a few days before.....

In terms of cramps, etc, I have no issues.  I have the Mirena IUD and almost non-existent periods and symptoms.

After my surgery, I have always still gotten all the symptoms: cramps, bloating, headaches, ect.

I usually go up a lb during that time of month or don't lose. But the week after, I will drop a significan't amount. So I think during that time of the month that I am still loosing, but I am just so bloated that It doesn't show until its been over for a few days.
