Freaking out! Plastic surgeon wants to move my surgery up a month+!!

So I get a call today from the surgeon's office. Just the routine deposit stuff and then she says, "Well, how does September 16th work for you?" Huh? Last we talked it was October 21st! I totally was not expecting this. My brain immediately was like, "Whoaaaaaa" but then I figure the sooner I get done, the sooner I'm well and so on. Work isn't an issue. Help here while I recover shouldn't be an issue. But man, it is freaking me out for some reason. I did want more time to work out and protein load, but I know I can crank my protein up right away and I'm only going to change my body so much in that extra month, so I guess I shouldn't let that deter me.

What do you think? Should I go for it? Can you think of any reason not to?

AHHHHHH!!

Excited but terrified,

Denise

I typically run about 80 per day. I was thinking of trying to get up to 100-120. Shouldn't be tough, but I'll have to limit my carby snacking and that will suck!! :)

Good luck to you!!

It's not even a question Denise, you have to go for it.  Everything happens for a reason, and this was meant to happen for you sooner rather than later.  Embrace the excitement (and the fear) and go for it.

Well if that is not a clear and concise opinion, I don't know what is!! :) Everything really does happen for a reason, despite our sometimes not understanding the reason at the time. My best friend said the same thing you did. Given my current situation at home, it really is much better timing than late October. I really can't imagine passing it up. Now if the stock market would just stop taking a crap maybe I'll still have the money to pay for it!!!

Thanks Jim. Clarity is good!

Embracing the excitement (not the fear so much!),

Denise

How exciting.  I would love to get a tummy tuck and a breast lift at the same time.  I am saving for my surgeries but it will probably be next year,

Looks like you are doing beautifully with your weightloss. You'll be ready to rock out that plastic surgery when the time comes.

Have a good weekend!

Go for it!  The swelling takes a while to dissipate, why wait consider this an early Christmas present for yourself.  You will simply be amazed when you see the results.  It's very rewarding!

What procedure(s) are you having done again?

I'm having a breast lift with implants and a lower body lift. It is an early Christmas present--for like the next 22 years judging by the cost!!!

I was thinking that I'll be in much better shape by the holidays if I get it done sooner. Lord knows with the kids Christmas is like, well, Christmas. We make a pretty big deal of it around here, so I'll need to be in good shape to pull off all the traditions and shopping.

Thinking I'm gonna be faxing a deposit form Monday morning!!

Wish me luck!
