Oh NO SHE DIDN'T!!!!!!

I don't understand why people feel they have the right to do that.  I would never comment on another person's pregnancy unless I KNOW that person and I KNOW they are pregnant.  That happened to me one time and I tell you that person almost did not survive that encounter!  How rude??!!

I do the same and tell them the last time I gave birth. They don't know and are just trying to start up a conversation.

Working at a baby boutique it is part of my business to ask so that I can help the customer find things that they need or may need. After over a year I've only been wrong once. She had JUST given birth but didn't bring the baby in with her. Felt stupid. Thankfully she was kind and shrugged it off and I was able to help her find post-partum items.

Even when I see a lady who is all belly and looking about 9 months I will never ask! I had a co-worker once who had a benign tumor in her uterus that made her look 5 months pregnant. She got asked all the time. You just never know and if you're wrong it's just so hurtful to that person. Sorry you went through this.

I'm sorry  someone you don't know hurt you so badly but boy are you giving her a lot of power to make you angry.  I hope you didn't eat out of anger or frustration.. .that would make her all the more powerful.

I am sure she is on some support forum somewhere posting about how stupid she is and how bad she feels....


FWIW honey I'm 2 years out I weigh about 135 pounds, I wear a size 6 or thereabouts and I still feel fat and old and ugly... the last time was Saturday night when I was buying new bras and panties that I desperately needed.    

From a man's perspective, tell her I'm just fat but she is ugly, but I can lose weight. That'll shut her up.
