My hair has not been the same since surgery-- I drink over 100ozs a day, eat 80-100 grams of protein, take all my vitamins faithfully--but my hair is really dry and frizzy (made worse by summer sun and pool).  Has anyone else experienced this and do you have recommendations to help with it?

My hair has always been dry and frizzy. I only wa**** when it looks like it has some oil in it, that could be over a week sometimes (yes it is that dry) that way I reduce breakage by washing it too much. I also use avocado conditioner and I make sure to do a good conditioning treatment at least every other week. I put on the conditioner, wrap my hair on plastic wrap and leave it for a few hours before rinsing it off and styling it.

I also use Paul Mitchel Super Skinny Serum to keep the hair glozzy and avoid frizzy fly outs (my hair is growing back and it can look crazy without the serum)

I have the same issue. Oh top of the dryness and frizz, I have all of this new hair growing back so I have a little 'frizz halo' all the time. I like the Frizz Ease hair serum. The shampoo is awful, but the after shower serum is good.

I've been using the frizz ease serum for months now--but it's not getting rid of all the frizz!
