Paperwork off to insurance

Yeahhhhh, Finally....Paperwork is finally off to insurance company.  From what I was told, it only takes one week for approval/denial.  I am, of course, praying for an approval.  So if it is that quick, by this time next month, I should be a new RNY patient.  I am excited but scared at the same time.  Any advice would be helpful.

I know how you feel.  My doc was supposed to fax the paperwork last Wednesday and didn't, so I took it upon myself to pick the paperwork up at the docs this morning and first thing this morning faxed the paperwork to my surgeon's office.  Hoepfully, I will have an approval by Friday or Monday.  At least I know that the paperwork is in process and we aren't waiting for anyone else to send in information.  Hopefully yours will go smoothly...Keep in touch.
