Want to try something better??  Try Hard Times Cincinnati Chili.   All finely ground meat (easy on the pouch) and no beans.   I loved Wendy's but have totally switched to Hard Times!

Wendy's Chili is angel food. I would put it in the food processor when I was early out. Now I ask for cheese and onions on it and chow down. I can not eat more than half of a small one though. Wendy's Rulz

I coudn't wait til I could eat Wendy's chili too.  I would buy two large and just  eat some every day.  Just today I found their recipe for their chili on  Secretrecipe.com . When the web site comes up look on the left and all the restrauants are listed. Just click on " w" and  scan down to it .iIt is simular to how I make mine but I am going to make their recipe next.  time. Good Luck

Been eating Wendy's chili since I could eat mushy food. Now I make a knock-off
that's uber easy and soooo good.
2 small or 1 large can kidney beans
2 small or 1 large can pinto beans
large can diced tomatoes
small can tomato sauce
small can chopped green chiles
tiny diced celery or a dash of celery seeds
ground beef
onion
garlic
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp mexican seasoning
pepper to taste

Brown the very lean ground been with the onion and garlic.  Add everything else and simmer
for 30-40 minutes.

I freeze it up in 1-cup containers and grab and go for lunches.

Hey Jan, your recipe sounds delish!  One question, is there any particular brand of Mexican Seasoning you use?

You all should know that the large size costs way more per ounce than the small does. If you are going to save some, get two smalls rather than one large.
