OMG!

I went for my 2nd post op today and was told I could eat soft eggs, cheese and fish.  I have never been so happy to hear those words.  It's been five weeks.

Well, I ate the egg, but I think I ate more than 3 oz.   I feel a little uncomfortable, but no pain.

Egg sometimes doesn't sit well for people for some reason so don't worry it's normal.  Congrats on getting to eat more types of food!

Congratulations!! I know that even with my previous wls, I rarely could eat eggs because to me they always felt like they would get stuck. Eggs are hard for some folks to eat.

I was cleared to start introducing new foods at my two week checkup.  I sailed right through blended and soft foods and my doc has a philosophy that the sooner you start eating normal foods, the less grouchy your pouch will be.  That being said, I tried my first egg (mixed with a little greek yogurt and mayo) at 2 1/2 weeks and it went down just fine.  I also ate the entire thing with no problem.  My doc said that as long as it wasn't causing pain, I would be ok.
