19 months out with pictures
As I type I can not believe that it has been 19 months post op...WOW time has flown by.....
It was actually 2 years ago this month that I finally said I have had enough of being fat and miserable. I found the OH website and started working towards a new me. It was also 2 years ago that I had my wake up call in the Bass Pro Shop with someone saying to me...OMG Deborah...How big are you?! To say the least that hurt and embarassed me. So then I went to Advanced Surgeons and they helped me change my life.
I am eating smaller portions....I'm eating so much healthier and I'm training once again to run at my two year mark a FULL MARATHON. If you had said to me that I would be running much less running in a marathon I would have said are you crazy?!
I have learned to LOVE me again...I have had many WOW moments...NOW it is time to maintain.....
I will fight to keep from gaining any weight...I will not be a WLS Statistic.....
Granted I have not made my goal weight and I'm still considered overweight...BUT I am good where I am now!!!!! PLUS I know where I NEVER want to go back to ever again.
There is so much out there to do and see and I WANT TO LIVE and see it all!!!!!
I LOVE MY RNY!!!!!

LOL...I call it my Madusa look ...they have a mind all thier own and I just let it do its thing....I make sure I keep lots of layers in it...which help maintain my curl....PLUS I condition everyday and wash my hair 2 times a week which helps to keep from stripping out my natural oils and that helps too! My favorite product is spray on gel...it works great! the only time I hate my hair is on the humid days...it tends to grow like a chia pet! LOL!! So I usually make a trip to the restroom to tame it down by dampening it!
Your new photos show a very healthy woman to me. It does not appear that you are "still overweight" at all to me. Good job. DAVE
