Waiting is the worst part of the whole process

I called the surgeon's office today to find out if they had heard from the insurance company, which they had not.  They called the insurance company and left a message and still has not hear from them.  This really sucks.  How come the insurance company was quick to get back when they needed another supervised weight but is taking their sweet @ss time getting back about the approval/denial.  Now I have to wait until Monday and the person who usually handles this, is on vacation for a week, so I hope to hear something next week.  I am so discouraged right now.  It is horrible when you not only want it so bad but need it so bad too.  I just want to cry....Well I guess I will have to make the best of my weekend but I guess you never know. 

You'll get there.  Keep your chin up.  Alot of folks go through this rollercoaster ride.  Maybe your PCP can help you out?  Mine was really involved with the insurance company and had done tons of letters for folks needing surgery.  Usually as long as you meet the weight requirement, have tried different weight loss techniques without success, and especially have co-morbidities such as HTN, apnea, cholesterol, back problems, etc you will be approved.

 Take heart fellow struggler. I too have a hard time waiting, but it sounds like you are SO CLOSE, so don't give up now! It's going to happen, just be patient a little longer. Just think in a few month from now, you will be on the fun side of all of this and giving us all glowing reports. Stay strong and don't lose heart or let anything steal your joy because from everything I have read, the journey you are on is amazing!

Don't worry, you'll get your approval call. I went through the same thing too. Just calm down and  relax I got a feeling you will get that call soon.
