I am stinky!! Anyone else?

This is really weird. Since surgery, I have BO. I shower everyday, sometimes twice a day and I still feel like I stink. I use the clinical strength deodorant and have to apply it several times a day. Now, I know my sense of smell has gotten much stronger but, there are day's I can't even stand myself. I know it is summer, but this has never happened to me before surgery. Before surgery I would sweat but I was never stinky.

Has this happened to someone else and can someone tell me why??

It may be Ketosis, which is how our bodies process waste materials on their way out of our
bodies.

Not much that can be done about it from what I've read except to ride it out.

PS:  I went online and checked out various sites for that term.  The best thing I could find
seems to be that it is probably best combatted by drinking a lot of water and flushing
the byproducts out of your system very fast. 

Ok, I thought it was just me.  The clinical strength deoderant that I could apply every other day is now not working DAILY!  Sometimes even the skin on my forearms gets a funky smell if I forget to put lotion on in the morning.  Maybe she's right about the ketosis.  I knew it showed up in my breath, but everywhere else???  I hope this passes.

Nope. Only my butt stinks lol. TMI I know but I get bad gas.

Omg same with me...right after rny I would smell so bad!!!! Now that its getting cooler in ny and im post op four months today ive noticed its gotten better

BO and Gas for me!!! I stink!

I noticed the same thing with me. I switched from Secret (regular) to Avon's 24 Hour Unscented deodorant and it did the job for me.

ive noticed that my sence of smell has gotten better .. so maybe we stunk all along and we just never knew it .. LOL..............
