We've established NUT is nut, now help.
Ok so we have already established my NUT is a nut, so now I need help. I am 3 months out.
Here are my stats for yesterday. Typical day with the exception of the Fiber one brownie.
795 Calories
59 Carbs
28 Fat
76 Protein
The Carbs are from:"
2 glasses of 8 oz skim milk
2 Laughing cow light
2 tbs of natural PB
Greek yogurt (1 cup)
Pickles
Fiber one brownie
Yes, I get in all my fluids and vits and I am exercising.
My surgery weight was 256 and I am now between 218-221 So 35-38 lbs since surgery

My nut would like to see me at about 500 cals, 65 grams of protein. She said that 625 is about 100 too many cals and they were clean calories. I guess I am just so confused. I don't want to mess up my malabsorbation time. Ya know. If I need to bring my carbs down or cals I will or even up them.
I will do what ever it takes, but I just don't know the answers.

Yeah, your NUT is a nut.
Your body needs a certain amount of calories just to exist. Any activity you do atop that requires even more calories. Now the point of the surgery IS to eat way less calories than your body needs, forcing it to burn fat. But here's the kicker.
When you go too far, restrict too much, your body has a secret weapon: metabolism. So you have to sort of find your "sweet spot" so to speak: the amount of calories that will trick your body into thinking it's ok to burn precious fat.
At three months out 500 calories seems a bit low. I personally was advised to do 6-800 calories a day at 3 months. But again, advice varies so much in this industry...

RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!
Your calories are fine for 3 months out and so is your protein - just what I was advised. How are you getting it? 3 meals or 5 - 6 meals? There makes a difference? 5 -6 small meals increases your metabolism, decreases your hunger and is better for your blood sugar and insulin levels. You are drinking alot of milk - are you drinking it plain or putting it in protein drinks? I wasn't allowed to drink calories unless they were in protein drinks.
