Like all things, good in moderation. I have to measure it out since I can always eat more than I should if I don't. Otherwise, it's not a bad source of protein and easy to make or buy.

Like all things, look at the fats and sugar...depends on what they put in it.
Chickpeas are a decent source of protein, but if you're slathering it on
lots of crackers or bread, maybe not so much.

Love hummus!  I eat it regularly on crackers...usually about 4 crackers...ratio..lots of hummus to little cracker lol.  Yummy!!

My group say no until I'm 6 months out, but if you feel you need it, try something better like fresh veggies to dip into it instead of processed crackers.  It's the processed stuff that you really need to avoid if you can because they don't give you anything other than carbs and a microscopic amount of fiber.
