Imma nervous wreck

Sorry to hear abot your surgeon to be such an ....... I had the same issue as well , but I think mine was always a jerk.  I never found that out till after my surgery which made it worst.  I laid in pain all night the pain medication that he gave did not even touch my pain. I have a very low tollerance for pain.  The charge nurse told me that the amount of medication I was given was the highest dose. I was getting morhine 2mg every hour and I was still in tears until the next morning when they chaged me over to po medications, which took the edge off a bit.  I was not able to sleep either because i also have a history of panic and anxiety.  And have been taking trazadone for the last 3 years.  So you could only imagine how miserable i WAS IN PAIN AND SLEEP DEPRIVED.  WHY are the giving you open surgery? I too had to be at the hospital at 600am, and i had to drive myself and drop of the kids at the daycare that morning.  I really feel that doctors need to be on the recieving iend of the stick and be a patient themselves.

I live in eastern Ky there are too many dealers around here for me to be in pain very long heck I am related to half them  lol (joke............) Im sorry you had to go thru that kinda pain....Im lucky in the kids department they are 20,17,17,16,14 and 13 the last 5 are still in school but my MIL is coming over and getting them to school and then cooking dinner that night and coming back the next morning which makes it soo much easier on me......I have 2 wonderful friends that are planning on coming over during the day to keep me company and cook dinners for the kids, do the laundry and clean.....the only thing I am really dreading after surgery is not having a recliner to sleep in I have a sectional couch that has recliners but it is so uncomfortable I dont think I can sit around or sleep on it and Bobby's recliner is his work recliner (nasty) and I really dont have anymore room to fit another one in here....oh well if thats the worst of it I am doing good.
