FRIDAY GRATEFUL POST

  Good Morning Everyone,

I am grateful today to be home.   I have been in Las Vegas since monday and all the craziness of that town.   It was a pleasant surprise though to come home to cooler weather.  Today I am grateful for a good trip and making it home safely.    Grateful for my family, friends, WLS, all the choices for different WLS.    Grateful for the 4 seasons, support groups,  second chances at a better more healthier life than before WLS.    Grateful for everything in my life today.    PLEASE share with us what you are grateful for today.

Hi Happy FRIDAY,  I am greatful to be alive and to have God in my life and great full to have my children. Just not to long ago I completed an on line nursing course at Phoenix UNIVERSITY and received an A- for this class that I seem to have struggled so hard with in the end. I just had my surgery about 4 weeks ago and the anesthesia and the pain medication that they gave me post operatively had me in the drug zone.  DURING THIS 2 WEEK PERIOD i WAS NOT ABLE TO CONCENTRATE AND FORMULATE MY LAST PAPER FOR THIS CLASS.  I was in absolute misery because prior to surgery my average was an A .  I felt so sure that I was not going to get a good grade due to my altered mental status that I practically gave up and said if it was meant for me to continue on I will receive a good grade and if not I will receive a failing grade.  And just this week I was told by my academic advisor I received an A-.  I was so grateful and also inspired.  God truly works in mysterious ways.
