Would this have too much sugar for early post-op?

Everyone's different.  It would not have too much sugar for me but might for you.  I don't dump on sugar from fruit, though.  And the amount of sugar in this would vary depending on exactly what you put in it.

If it is RNY I would wait at least three months, then try.  I am four years out and could still not eat that.

I agree, if it's RNY, I would wait. Whole fruits and raw or leafy veggies are usually included later in the plan. This recipe calls for the whole fruits including lots of pulp and fiber. Even pureed, I would bet it's not on the approved food list for right out of surgery. Often the only fruit approved that early is watered down apple juice or something similar. Also, that would have made me dump and still would at 4 months out. Better bet is sugar free popsicles and no sugar added fruit juice bars.

Im a little confused by the other posts, but everyone's plans are different. Nothing in this was against the plan from my surgeon and I don't dump from natural sugar. These actually look awesome and I think I am going to try it! Just check with your doc and see what he/she says...

I could eat the entire recipe and not have a problem but each of us are different and  I think that makes more than one or two, so it would be a lot less in just one of them.
