I thought we lost no matter what...
And I've been pretty far from no matter what. I eat sensibly, everything in moderation. Less than1300 calories a day, I'm on my feet all day at work, 60 oz of fluids, vits, protein etc. And I have lost 6 friggin pounds in an entire month. Stalled for over 2 weeks at 6.5 months out. I'm scared this is it. 89 pounds later and I'm maxed out at obese. I'm going to consult my doctor when I see her on the 20th of october but this is really depressing. Wether I eat 80 grams of protein or 60, 100 oz of water or 60, 800 calories or 1400, sitting all day or on the move constantly, it's not coming off of my body. Im terrified.
Sorry for the ramble...just venting it out.

I know it's frustrating, having been on "diets" and now on my second surgery. I've been on a plateau for the past week and a half and I'm only 5.5 weeks out!
However, you still have plenty of time to lose since the malabsorption lasts like 18 plus months usually?
It seems like you've changed things up according to what you've written, but sometimes, even if we work and stand on our feet all day, sometimes we have to change that up and do some other form of exercise since our bodies get used to that.
Just an idea, hope that it speeds up for you and for me too!!

Repeat after me:
I am in a stall
This is temporary
In fact it's quite common at 6wks, 6months, 1yr...
I am not done losing weight.
And then keep doing what you've been doing- it's coming off- focus instead on living your life and doing all the things you couldn't do almost 90lbs ago.

We do lose no matter what, in the beginning.
We also typically have stalls, no matter what. That is just the way weight loss works. I'm sorry that you're really depressed to be losing normally, but that's how it is for most of us. I'm sure we'd all like to be the fastest loser ever, but most of us are just average and that means we have normal stalls.

i'm a year out and still "obese." i'm like 2 pounds from overweight, so frustrating! lol. i barely lost from about 7 months to 11 months (maybe 10 pounds the whole time). then in month 11 dropped 10 pounds. stalls happen. just like losing a bunch of weight super quick does. just be patient with your body, and not get too hard on yourself (i know, easier said then done)
