Some NSV's need encouragement no loss in over a week.
I kmow 21 lbs since surgery is great, and i know my body is adjustin gpost- op and......but it still has me worried.
Onto NSV's did my measurements, i am down a total of 12.5 inches all over from July. Started pre-op diet in August. Pare of velveteen workout pants that were a second skin last time i had them on........TO BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Into the Goodwill pile they go. New ones i had bought that fit snug but fit, ar enow loose but can wear them awhile longer. Body is shrinking even if the scale isnt!!!!

Also off topic i have an interview monday for an analyst postion at work!!! I so want this!! i am still out on FMLA but will be bak on the 10th. The extra week was a good idea as my energy just has started to rebound past 2 days.

The best way to deal with it is the hide the scale. What you don't know won't hurt you. Weigh weekly or even monthly if you can.
I couldn't but I had to make a deal with myself that I wouldn't let what the scale said bother me or I would get rid of it. I am too curious. I had to know what my body was doing. But others swear by just using their clothing to gauge their loss.

Keep doing your measurements. I take mine every Friday and every little bit helps keep me motivated.
Good luck on your job interview!

Congrations on your interview. I hope you get it!
I had surgery on the 2nd of September and so far have only lost 10lbs! I have been at 201.5 - 202.5 on my scale for over a week and am a little frustrated. I know this is just as you said my body adjusting. My pants are loose, and I feel good. There is still that little voice (the unrealistic one) that tells me that is all the weight I am going to lose and that I am going to be here for the rest of my life! I know that is not true, I hate the little voice! So I am going to just keep doing what I am doing (80gm protein, 64oz water, and exercising) and know that soon my scale will move!!!
