For the first time since I was pregnant with my son in 2009, my wedding ring fits again!!

I feel married again!

LOL. I had a band that I wore while mine wasn't fitting, but it wasn't a traditional wedding ring so I'm not sure people knew it was. And yes, I care what other people thought. I love my husband and my children and I am proud to be able to properly show off our union again.

My ring is a custom designed Irish Claddaugh. It's two rings together. The heart-shaped diamond and hands of the Claddaugh make up the engagement ring - the "love" and "friendship" parts of the symbol. And the crown is on the wedding band - the "loyalty" part of the symbol.

I LOVE my ring and I am so happy it fits me again!!

Congratulations! I know what you mean about loving your ring and wanting to wear it to symbolize your marriage and family. I couldn't wear mine for a while until I had it sized from an 8 1/2 to a 6 1/2! I haven't had it off since I got it back from the jeweler.

CONGRATS! My rings went from being not worn for 10 years of our almost 13 year marriage because they were too tight to now not being worn because they are too big. :)

I didn't think about the "too big" part. D'oh!

Well, I'm still 30 pounds heavier than I was when I first got the rings, and after that 30 pounds I'll only be 25 pounds from goal, so maybe I'll get lucky. One can hope.
