My smoothie recipe..

I created a smoothie recipe with protein that i just happen to be able to drink without any problems at all.  Protein to me is awful no matter what kind it is.

So I had gotten some unjury strawberry sorbet  as a sample.  I take about 3/4 cup of milk, add to it some crushed ice (about 3 ice cubes worth), 2 tablespoons of Unjury SS (this is almost a full scoop), 3 fresh or frozen(defrosted and no sugar added) strawberries and a tablespoon of banana instant pudding (SF) and then i mix it in my bullet.  I also add about a tbl of SF raspberry syrup or you could try a little splenda to sweeten it up.   Its really good and probably pretty close to 20 grams of protein.  I will eventually add a whole scoop someday..lol

Another one...add 2 cups of milk to a large box of SF vanilla instant pudding and mix it up.  Add to this a can of pumpkin and about a tsp of pumpkin pie spice.  Then mix it all up and let it set up a bit.  When you eat it you can add some unflavored or vanilla protein to it.  Mix it up and top it with some lite cool whip.  Its soooo good.

Have fun.

It's probably at least 20 grams of protein.  A full scoop of Unjury is 20 grams, right?  And 3/4 cup skim milk is six more grams.

I'm gonna try that recipe with pumpkin in it instead of the cherry pie filing.  And put cool whip on top!

You know what, you can hide a little bit of protein powder in there too, if you want to up the protein.  If you just use a little bit, you won't even notice it at all.

hey Kelly--I love reading your posts and replies--they are very helpful--thanks!! :)  I do the greek yogurt with pumpkin and @ 2T SF butterscotch pudding--then add coolwhip.  it is yummy :)  I was doing the cheesecake one with the low sugar pie filling, but got kinda sick of it, so switched it up a bit.
