Well guys and gals, it is official!!!! I am on the loser's bench. Lap band out and RNY completed.  I have virtually no pain and I am shocked since I have very low pain tolerance especially in the abdomen.  My nurses keep saying how surprised they are that I am already smiling and that I have barely used my pump. Honestly I feel pretty good and now that this is done I am so happy to have done it!!!! Talk to you all soon!!!!!

So excited for you!! Glad things are working so well for you and that you aren't in much pain!! I can't wait to join you on the bench!

Just a heads up that the second day can be a little rougher as the swelling starts to set in but overall, most tolerate it well.  Glad to hear you are doing well and just think this is your new birthday...maybe the surgiversary!

Congratulations,  I too, had very little pain.  What little I did was in the shoulder.

 yeah thats just awesome.  I had some pain but i have a high tolerance so i can take alot.  i know at one time they forgot to get me some pain meds for hours..it wasn't bad..but the gas was uncomfortable..Hope all keeps going well for you and keep us updated..welcome to the losers bench.  

My surgery is next week. I hope I feel as you post op. Congrats on making it to the losers bench
