I am almost 1 year post op, I have not had any fruit other than Bananas and frozen Strawberries in my protein shakes, I am just wondering is there any other fruits I can eat? I have not had any other fruits in fear of  any natural sugar it may have and possibly causing dumping or any other issues.  What fruits do you eat and what do you think I should totaly avoid?

I don't dump so I don't know if it will be helpful to you.  I have had peaches, apples, blueberries, pears, oranges.  I have heard to watch out for watermelon.

I eat almost all fruit, and I am 4 months out.  Try a little bit of fruit that you like... and see what happens.  Good luck!

I'm 5 months out. I don't dump on sugars, but I am sensitive to "skins" of fruits. I eat all melons, mango, all berries (high in fiber, lots of nutrients). I avoid apples (too chewy), grapes and pears, just too tough to digest. I haven't had any citrus at all. I did try some dried fruit, but it was a bit too much for me and I used it only as a taste, not to eat a lot of...

I'm a little more than 8 months post-op and I eat all kinds of fruit (blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, watermelon, peaches, nectarines, oranges, apples, plums) and haven't had a problem with dumping. Just be careful on quantities and I'm sure you'll be fine.

I haven't dumped either and I eat fruits.. Mos****ermelon once or twice a week. you will just have to test the waters if you want to eat them. I would be sure to skin it and only eat a small amount.

i occasionally dump but never have on fruit. green grapes are probably what i eat the most (maybe 10 at most), i've had a slice of watermelon, half an orange, the majority of an apple (red delicious and i think maybe a golden delicious last year). tomatoes i eat all the time (if you count them, i don't. they will always be a veggie to me lol). i can't think of anything else i've had... that's pretty much it for fruit i like anyway

i have had strawberrys, banana, and applesauce so far at 2 months out.  I bought some no sugar added pears today but haven't tried them.  None has seemed to bother me so far.
