So I finally made it home around 1pm today.  I was finally able to pee after having to be re-cath last night.  I feel a little bit different being home.  Feel a little bit more pain being home also.  I am very swollen and have gained 15lbs since having surgery. I am assuming it is from all the IV fluids they had to give me.  I have lost 2lbs so far being home and just urinating.  I absolutely have no regrets yet.  I can't believe I have already had surgery. I am also very very pleased with my surgeon Dr. Buchin. What an awesome man!!! Amazing bedside manner. After having my lap band I saw the surgeon day of surgery and the day after. In the 4 years i have been going to his office I never once saw him.  I saw my surgeon yesterday and was so shocked when he came back to see me this morning.  A few hours later the PA Sophie also dropped in to see me.  I have my 2 week F/U appt on Nov 1st.  Has anyone else experienced weight gain immediately after the surgery? I am on a natural high right now. So happy with my decision and can't wait to begin seeing results.  Wishing everyone else a great journey and best of luck!!!!

YAY!!! Congratulations...I was wondering how you did!!!! 

 good your doing good and yes i think i gained about 12 or so lbs.  I was actually told NOT to weigh myself when i got home to wait a couple weeks.  lol  Its from all the water they give you but from all the gas they put into for the surgery also.  It will go away just sip sip sip and do some walking and resting.  take care and keep us updated..welcome to the losers bench 

I gained 17lbs in the hospital from all the fluids they pumped in me....

So glad you're home!  Take it easy and I'm glad everything is goingn well for you.
