Aw, thanks Cheryl... I'm becoming fonder of this outfit by the minute!

As for the boots, I got them when Amazon had a 20% or 25% off sale, but since then they have come down a lot anyway... here's the link:

You too could have rocking boots! Have to say, these are ridiculously comfy. The wedge heel is great... they don't feel high to walk in at all...

Yup..smoking.

I continue the search for the perfect boots. I spent an hour at DLS (dsl?) trying on boots. I felt like Goldilocks..nothing was just right. My calf is too big for a normal boot and too small for a wide. I will find the perfect boot though.

*grins*.... Deb... do you mean DSW? I LOVE that place... I attack it with technical precision! I start on the far right... then scope the clearance racks, then up and down each aisle getting an idea of what appeals to me. Once I've made the rounds, I circle back to begin the "trying on" process, searching for just the perfect leather confection to adorn my tootsies. This can easily take HOURS if they've gotten a lot of new stock in. Makes me happy just to think of it... some fond, fond memories scoping those aisles....

Oops, sorry... can you tell I'm a bit of a shoe *****!?

Deb, keep the faith and you WILL find the perfect boots. I want to see them once you get them! ;)

DSW..yup that's the joint. I even did a little proselytizing to the saleslady. She wanted a lap band and I told her about other options!
I think I'm going to bite the bullet and try Nordstrom's next. Good thing I worked some extra shifts.
